I vaguely remember that picture, but I have zero recollection of who did it.  Plenty of high jinks back in the dt.net days, but it's been so long now and my memory isn't what it used to be. :facepalm: :lol

It arose from the constant bickering between Dave (FaithNoLife) and Itchy. He made the sign back in 03 or 04 and it made rounds, finally ending up in my hotel room the night of the 4/1 meetup. I took it home and have had it since then. It was unearthed today when I was cleaning out my old bedroom and found it.

Itchy (dtitchy as he was known on the original EZBoard) was Mark Bredius, webmaster for DT and the author of Under a Cyber Moon and eventually DT.net. He ran the original EZBoard and then the vBulletin-powered message board on dt.net.

Yes I know, the guy who embedded the soundbyte saying "Hyperplex is a homosexual" in his signature so it played whenever anyone loaded a page with his post on it. Still don't know who the guy was but he was pretty swiftly banned. And then Itchy removed the use of HTML tags in signatures. :lol

Was just a WAV file he uploaded somewhere and then used the embed tag in his signature to play on page load. One of the many ways enabling HTML code on message boards is "dangerous."
