I'm running into some problems with recording the video (yes, I already received my package

).

I can't manage to get the audio to work. I've added an audio device and it does show the amount of dB during the recording but when I play it back I do not hear anything.

Anyone run into the same problems and can give me some advice? I tried recording with my phone too but the quality is too shitty.

I could always take pictures but it's not as much fun that way.

EDIT: I figured it out and recorded everything. I will try to upload it tomorrow.

Note: I looked back at it once before leaving and I noticed that audio and video are not in sync and whenever my laptop went into sleeping mode the video stopped but audio went on. Also the lighting kinda goes back and forth as the laptop brightness automatically adjusts if I don't move the cursor.

I'll post the letter on here whenever I upload it because it was written by hand and I could unfortunately not figure out everything that was being written on the spot so it didn't come across as clear.

Here it is! First video of the year. I am not proud of the video/audio quality but since I can't re-do an unpacking vid it'll have to do.

Sorry for not being able to make up all of the letter's content on the spot, I took the time to rewrite it right here so you can all have a read, I really like the idea and thought you all should have a look:

Oh, the CD is from a charity project back in 2007 in which I was involved. Musicians from the German Spock's Beard community wrote and recorded an epic. Some members' bands contributed own songs, and even Spock's Beard and Neal donated songs. All the incoming money was donated to the German Aid for Afghan Children. By sending you this CD, I will also donate some money. So this gift is actually doing something good.
