Well, its that time again when we spread some good ol' forum cheer in a tangible form. As usual, we will split into N. America and Europe (if there are enough people who want to participate in Europe - it's been a few years since we had enough people partake across the pond). Sign up below and leave a "need by" date if you are leaving town/school for the holidays. Default date is Dec. 5, that way we avoid the shipping deluge. If you have a true "need by" date, a return date would also be helpful incase you have to get your gift out late.
Rules:
* Don't tell anyone who you have. If you need gift ideas, PM me and I will contact your SS, or you can post suggestions for yourself in this thread once the matchmaking is done.
* Gifts should be around $30 not including shipping.
* Plan on shipping your gift at least a week before someone's "Need by" date. Different people might have different dates, be courteous to your recipient. This includes being late, try not to be too late.
* Don't put your name on the package. Use Kevin Moore, Mike Porntoy, or some other forum joke for your name. Use your real address for the return address though, just in case something happens and your package needs to get sent back to you.
* Pictures or video of you opening is required. Video preferred.
* If your person didn't get a gift from you last year, you are out unless you provide restitution (send the person a gift).
* If you get a gift from lonestar, you are not allowed to do anything that will get you banned from the forums for at least a year (lonestar got letters in 2011 and lateralus88 in 2012).
* There is a minimum "notoriety" requirement this year. In all but two cases, the person who fails to give a gift is a newbie. A repeat of four years ago non-participants is unacceptable.
Please note: My computer with all the old matches and addresses is in storage, so I will need addresses when it is closer to time, and if I sent you the person you had last year, I may need a reminder. Due to the length of time I've been running this, it may require giving to someone you gave to a few years ago.
