I chose 'Pieces of Eight' by Styx.  There's a couple quirky tunes, but the album as a whole hit the spot.

Side One of Boston's 'Don't Look Back' is on my Top Five list of non Queen album sides.

'Hemispheres' and '...And Then There Were Three' along with Van Halen, Journey, and Springsteen are all time favorites. Billy Joel, The Cars, and Toto follow.

Tull, Alice, Talking Heads, Rainbow, Foreigner, Al Di Meola were OK and had their moments.

Queen's 'Jazz' did help add to my favorite concert of all time, but overall was such a drop off.
...going along with Dragon Attack's Queen thread has been like taking a free class in Queen knowledge. Where else are you gonna find info like that?!

Side 2 of Pieces of Eight is right up there with best album sides of all-time.  Queen of Spades and the title track are vastly underrated.

Disappointed by the lack of love for Kraftwerk’s The Man-Machine.
Great album, I need to revisit it.
