I saw these guys supporting Haken a few months back. Didn't mind the music but really wasn't a fan of the vocals, kind of ruined it for me. Max clearly outplayed the rest of the band that night.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I've been blasting this track a couple of times a day in the last few days.  It's a pretty darn good feeling when you find a song from a guy that you barely heard of and that he's only known because he's in X's solo band, but when you hear a new song from him, you just can't stop hearing it willingly.
