Frost* Survivor 2016 - Home Thread
« on: September 19, 2016, 04:18:06 AM »
Welcome to the Frost* Survivor! Each album will have its own survivor, with the top 2 going to the Final League, and the 3rd-placed song going to Consolation. As there are only two officially-released non-album songs (The Dividing Line and The Forget You Song, both on The Philadelphia Experiment), they will face each other in a one-round playoff, with the winner earning a Consolation spot.

For the survivors, there will be no tiebreaker rounds unless it affects Consolation or Finals places. Total votes will be the first tiebreaker, and if that is tied (such as in the first round), both songs will be eliminated in joint-#th place.

There will be four songs in Consolation, with the top 2 of those making up an eight-song Final League. More on that later.

Rounds will usually last 24 hours. We'll begin on Thursday 22 September with Milliontown, so if you're taking part you have a few days to reacquaint yourself if need be.

Awesome! I shall endeavor to participate as much as possible.

As for the non-album tracks, I understand why you only have those two on there, but what about "Here Is The News" and "Wedding Day", which were both released on a, albeit rare, Frost release? I'm sure the majority of fans have NOT heard those tracks, but I believe they may be easily accessible online with some digging around.

https://www.discogs.com/Frost-Tour-Sampler-2008/master/1013706 - includes "Here Is The News" and "Wedding Day"

If anything, it would make the Non-Album Tracks survivor a little more exciting.

posting here so I don't forget about it.

prediction:  Milliontown will win, how could it be any other way.

although to be honest I would personally want Dividing Line to win the final.
