Pretty crappy season thus far for me. Unofficially I'm at 68. Thankfully, my long-time nemesis in these matters is having an even crappier season.

How do the Bears beat the Vikes?  This parity is for the freaking birds, and I don't mean the Cardinals.

Losing Bridgewater and Peterson had to catch up to them eventually.

I don't think that's it. Even if they had those two guys, losing to a division rival on the road is never a far fetched scenario.

I have been creeping and creeping and creeping on Rattlehead.  As I have constantly said to myself, 'it is a marathon, not a sprint, it is a marathon, not a sprint'.  I am now closer than I have been all season to Rattlehead, and I can sense....

hey, wait a sec, Cool Chris.  wtw is going on?  You have turned a 7 game gap into a 4 game lead.  Well done, sir.

Last week, there were at  three games that I had as total locks, that just did not go as predicted.  I thank my lucky stars that I do not gamble anything over $5 a week TOTAL (other than the playoffs).  At that time of year, it is much more.  I just cannot fathom betting REAL money on any sport.

Man, that's just awful. Unofficially I'm 8 games out, which is appalling. And after last week I only hold a two game lead over my IRL nemesis.

Thank you, not bad for a rookie at this!

Edit: Clearly this is the week to gain ground on me, I am doing terrible!

Damn it, I forgot to set my pick for the Jets/Dolphins game, so it went with my beginning of the season home team selection.

5 game lead with 3 to play. My picks for this weekend:

The 1976 Bucs, and the 2008 Lions.

Unofficially at 167, so I'd be vying for 3rd if not for two bouts of incompetence. Still, not much to brag about. Pretty rough season.

I have gone 16-0 this post season, though. Today will be the much tougher test.

An apology from me for not bumping the thread and congratulating you as I should have. 179 wins is pretty damned dominant. That would have won my money league just as handily, which is usually more competitive than DTF. WTG.  :tup

On the bright side, while butt ugly compared to CC's 179, my 170 was sufficient to win me yet another bottle of single malt. And, by hitching my horse to NE in my preseason predictions I picked up a couple of more trophy six-packs. No DTF gold, but still a pretty victorious season for me.
