Dee Snyder is awesome

Criss Angel decided to direct a stripped down version of Dee singing We're Not Gonna Take It - just him and a piano - for Heal Every Life Possible (HELP - pediatric cancer awareness).  This is really a pretty spectacular performance and an emotional video.

He sings the first verse in a lower register.  Keep with it.  I can't believe what a voice he still has.

HUGE Dee fan.  Always was, though (and I've said this here before) I always thought they got a bum wrap with the costumes and such and so weren't taken as seriously as they should have been. 

For the record, I lost it at 3:33.

(Though I had to laugh at the first comment: "Twisted Sister fought a Balrog and now has emerged from the depths as Dee Snider the White.")

Always liked Dee Snyder.  Very intelligent and compassionate guy.  Wouldn't want to get on his bad side though.  He'll rip you a new ass.  :lol

He doesn't really have the voice to successfully pull off something like that, but the whole reason for doing that was pretty awesome; a wonderful sentiment.  :tup :tup

Always loved Dee as a singer. Very underrated in my opinion. And his singing on Widowmaker's Stand By For Pain, especially on the title Bad Rain is astounding. Great job here too. And beautiful video!

Agreed! I thought the performance and video was pretty cornball, but good cause, so hopefully it pays off.
