Hey Scar, can we have you put the sent bands into the OP as banned? Makes it easier when the later rounds come to find what's been sent previously. Thanks bro.

Sent bands don't have to automatically be banned. Up to the person running the game.

Adding to that, if you have a clear idea of what themes there will be in next rounds, can you list them in the OP as well? It makes it useful for deciding what songs to send in subsequent rounds and it allows for some planning ahead.

I wanted to say maybe we've sent same band but then I realised which band you've sent :lol

I doubt you will have guessed the band I have sent. It's not an obvious submission from me, I rarely even mention this band. Give me a clue as to who you think I've sent?

You guys make this hard......I've received all songs besides 1 and they all got high, high, terrific scores....None is below a 9.....

You guys.

Yep, like an instant 0/10 from me would be anything by The Pet Shop Boys. I can't stand them.

Nah Native Construct - Mute is 9.25/10 in my book tbh. I actually have a Native Construct song on my playlist for this roulette but it's not Mute. Will probably not send it anyway though because it's too poppy and Scar hates pop.

Can't wait for NC's follow-up album to blow Ruslans socks off.

Anyway, who is going to send Lorde this time? Scar would really like it I bet

It's ok, there are thousands upon thousands of parallel universes where this roulette is being played out and every song you can think of is too popular in one of them  :lol

I'm also full of shit in the majority of them  :loser:

Parama's: Brand New Limousine
9.5/10
Jesse's lyrics....is so haunting and so darn good. The song is dark and indeed depressing and it is gut wrenching to listen to. I broke down at the guitar solo and I felt like the poor girl's spirit was floating as the lyrics were being sung. The transition between perspective's was very flowing and it didn't disrupt the song at all.

Shadow Ninja's: Pete Yorn - "Lose you"
9/10
The introduction is the only reason why I docked a point off of this. The piano part onwards was awesome, but following before it, I didn't like it. RIP Lawrence Kutner. I didn't realize this song was for the show "House." Was a real pleasant surprise when I found out and I watched parts of it. I couldn't make it when Taub broke down. The song is really awesome...

Tomi's Katatonia - "The Racing Heart"
10/10
This song is a major yes. This song is really moving and the acoustic version of this is super beautiful also. My favorite lyrics was, "If I sow a wind now, I will reap a storm." This is basically a dark version of the Beatles. This is poetic, melodic, subtle, soulful..... It took me a few listens to get it, but once it did, it hit me like a lightning bolt. Really perfect.

Train of Naught's: Thrice - "Beggars"
10/10
One of the best outro's I've ever heard. It is simply stellar. This solo made my hair stand up. It blows me off my feet every time. What I've been going through, it physically hurts me every time I listen to this song, but the physical pain brings some pleasure. It is like what Petrucci wrote: "Bathing in beautiful agony....I am endlessly falling, lost in this wonderful misery...In peaceful sedation I lay half awake and all of the panic inside starts to fade....Hopelessly drifting, bathing in beautiful agony." Love that section to death, feel that section to death. I cry every time I listen, when I think about her....We are all beggars....

DoC's: Pain of Salvation - "Oblivion Ocean"
10/10
That voice is super awesome. This song is a magical song. "Oh god if you save them I swear I'll always hold them in my hand!" That is simply beautiful. This song is bitter sweet, but eventually, it is satisfying. It's like tak

Sacul's: David Bowie - "Lazarus"
10/10
I looked at the stars while listening to this song. The stars grew dimmer and dimmer as the song progressed. I. Can't. Stop. Crying. every time I listen to this song. It's emotionally painful, but I just love torturing myself emotionally. And the climax of this song.....it opens the floodgates and this song is one of the best ways to release my emotions in a flood. I end up crying hard or end up becoming filled with rage and I can't control myself. Thanks Sacul.

Lonestar's: Shattered Skies - "Aesthetics"
10/10
This song is awesome. At first I was skeptical because of the lack of views and such, but once I read over the lyrics and listened to it, I was instantly hooked. "Isolated, I am warped just like wood in choking heat." Definitely one of my favorite verse for this song. I really loved listening to this song and made some time to delve deeper into this band. Nice!

Luke's: Riverside - "The Depth Of Self" / "Delusion"
10/10
This song is so tranquil....The guitar theme that comes up at 4:15 is just intensely superb. I swear the singer sounds like Mikael Akerfeldt. This song is definitely a grower. I usually dislike growers, but they end up being my favorite. That happened to Opeth. Now they edge out Dream Theater. Nice!

Scorpion's: The Antlers - "Epilogue"
10/10
Another emotionally devastating song....I'm ok until he sings the first part of the chorus, then I break down and sob as memories hit hard. It's really brutal. Nice choice. Honestly, the acoustic guitar is spot on and his voice is awesome. Thanks a lot for this song.

Elite's: Anna Von Hausswolff - "Come Wander With Me" / "Deliverance"
9.5/10
This song helps me to detach from the world or sever my connection with it when I get frustrated with anything. Also, she's Swedish and my favorite band Opeth is Swedish. The voice is amazing, enchanting. This song is one fine piece of art, especially the heavy parts. Merci.

Round 3: All Harsh/ The No Mercy Round

I want this song to have absolutely NO MERCY at all. Everything must be harsh vocals (growls, screams, etc....). Songs that will make teenagers cry and run to their mommy or whatever. I want to hear the raw anger, the raw energy emanating from the songs. Good luck!

Received: Parama, Tomi, Lonestar, Shadow, Luke, Sacul, Elite, Scorpion

Still needed: Train of Naught, DoC,

The theory that the are infinite parallel universes in which every possible eventuality is being played out. Like every decision you ever make, there is a parallel universe in which you made different decisions. So there is potentially a parallel universe in which the most underground shit you can think of is super popular.

As I said though, just a theory and not really relevant. What IS relevant is that I predicted my 10/10, just a shame everyone else did too  :lol

Plenty of extreme shit to send though.
