Okay, so I was watching The Butterfly Effect movie with Ashten Kutcher and there is a scream in there that sounds A LOT like the scream from Finally Free. I know DT has a history of using movie sounds in their songs but this time, Scenes From a Memory came out Before The Butterfly Effect. So, did Butterfly take it from Scenes or did Scenes take it from a much older reference? Anyway have any ideas?

That's called the Wilhelm Scream, I believe. It's used quite often.

From some of the little research I've done, it appears to be called the Female Wilhelm Scream.

^Yeah, that.  It's a pretty common thing to use stock sound effects in music and movies.  It is relatively inexpensive, and you don't have to worry about copyright issues.  The hospital sound effects Queensryche uses on Operation: Mindcrime are another example of stock sounds that have also showed up on a lot of movies.
