Top 25 Artists/Bands Tracker Thread

Hello DTF Members,

Is there any interest for users to write up and share their list of favorite Artists/Bands like we do for albums?  I think that 25 would work better than 50 in this case, but whatever the majority thinks alright with me.

Sure thing, it's too soon for another top 50 albums for me but I could do this, sign me up.

Though I don't want to start until my roulette's finished and I want to think about it because I have a really hard time ranking my favorite artists. So.. probably 1 to 2 months from now or something?

And are you planning to keep track of a database like the top 50 albums one?

Oh also I think it'll be a little over 25 but I'll just make the others honorable mentions then

I would potentially be up for this. Might be a while before I'm ready. I can name my top 5 easily but not sure about a top 25. I'd probably end up surprising myself so it might be fun. Always hard to rank new bands against all time favourites though.

Yeah that's my biggest problem aswell, and at the same time the reason why I think it could be fun, I have no idea what my top 25 will look like whatsoever apart from like the top 3-4 and I am at a loss trying to compare newly found bands that I love to all-time favorites that I don't see myself return to often the past few years.

I love the idea and would tackle this but I barely can participate on roulettes, so maybe in summer. Will follow these anyways

If this is still going to be a thing I can start about a month from now. I suggest not making this a tracker thread and rather having all the lists done in this thread (similar to the top 25 video games thread) as it doesn't seem like there's too much to keep track of

I'd like to sign up for this. Probably will change a few years down the road, but this seems fun to me and much more manageable than top 50 albums.
