____________

Well I don't know where to go now. The two that were (rightly, in my opinion) eliminated first are the only ones that seems to be significantly different in quality from the other eight, to me. The remaining songs are all really great, and I don't know which one should go next. Contenders for me are These Colours Don't Run, The Pilgrim, The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg and The Longest Day (I think the first few minutes are some of the best stuff in their discography, but the latter half of the song drags a bit). But then there's the question of how far I'm willing to go to save Lord of Light, which I very much enjoy. In short, I need to listen to this album and rank all the songs before I vote this time.

Sticking with Benny Breeg.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Colours

Lord of light has, in my opinion, maybe the single best Bruce's vocal performance ever. Yes, I went there.

It's up there in terms of Bruce vocal performances. I think on this album Bruce really excelled more even than before at using his voice in different ways, to portray a variety of emotions and characters—which I think more than makes up for his reduced endurance and range.

Yeah, sorry, I had a few busy days. It's no excuse, but I'm about to get going right now.

Actually it is an excuse, there are more important things than dtf and the maiden survivor. Just take your time.
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D

That' fine mate.   Apologies I didn't mean to sound like I had the shits or anything, go at your own pace.

True. I often have periods of time where I feel very busy and technically have time to make survivor threads, but really just feel like I need a little bit of downtime off the internet instead, which makes it feel like it's no excuse.

No worries, I didn't take it that way. I did basically disappear for a few days, it makes sense that you'd wonder.

It's all good man, life happens and it's more important than the internet.  As much as I anticipate the next round, take your time as far as I care.
