Those are some very concise and to-the-point answers.

Yeah, no kidding.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

I don’t know.

I don't see golf as a hobby for JM. Interesting interview. I kind definitely see him speaking like this.

I was thinking Harbaugh.  Compared to him, BB is long-winded.

I just compare the two interviews and its night and day. I imagine there was a lot of silence during this current one.

Why do people keep trying to interview him?  I suppose people are still interested to read/listen, but he seems disinterested in being interviewed, and doesn't often say anything we don't already know about him.  It just takes away from his 25 hours of daily practice.

Unless you are asking gear questions, he seems like a hard guy to get to open up.  I think as an interviewer, you have to work a little harder with a guy like him.  You can't just have a script of 10-20 questions and just go down the line.  You have to pick your best substantive questions, and then ask follow-up questions to dig out deeper info.  This interview read like it was a set of written questions that were just sent to JM when he didn't really have time to write out detailed answers.  I hate that format anyway, but it is especially problematic when interviewing a guy like Myung who doesn't naturally open up.

Right, Bosk.

JM can be open, and when he is, it's interesting to hear his thoughts. This really just seemed like some sort of Jelly Jam junket.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Yeah, this totally looks like an email interview.

And asking for him to say negative things nonetheless. I understand why he was short. I think he even ironized the interviewer's question about what would he do if it wasn't music with that Yoda answer.

Being a golfer, for me it would have been nice to have follow ups as to his handicap, favorite or most enjoyable course, how often does he play, etc.  So the interview certainly seems to be emailed.

Maybe someone can ask him in the future......
