This guy had a promising future. He'll always be known for the JJ Abram's Star Trek films, but I especially enjoyed him in Like Crazy and Alpha Dog

His death in Alpha Dog is one of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen. It still haunts me.

Not making light, but the machines finally killed Kyle Reese.

I enjoyed Odd Thomas, and thought his portrayal of young Kyle Reese was pretty good. Haven't seen much else though, besides Alpha Dog, which I didn't know was him until just now.

RIP. Way too young. 2016 strikes again, and another 27 year old too.

Saw this just now. That's horrible, I always loved seeing the guy on screen. I really, really loved him in Charlie Bartlett; him and that movie always made me smile and has been a feel good kind of movie for me for a while (despite the dramatic moments). He seemed like a great guy from interviews and accounts. Terrible way to go... :-\

Man, what a bummer. Just saw him in Green Room, good stuff.

Yea, I posted about it in the Star Trek thread. I was a fan of his, he also seemed like a really cool guy too. I loved him in Charlie Bartlett, House of D, Alpha Dog, New York, I love you, The Beaver, and I really need to see Green Room.

Sadly, I guess his most popular films (Star Trek) were my least favorite of the ones I saw him in (Yup, counting Salvation in that too).

He seemed like a good guy.  Absolutely LOVED him in Odd Thomas...that's the movie that made me remember his name.  He was great in the Star Trek movies, too, of course.  Really sad to read about his passing.

His vehicle was under recall due to users believing they had put it in park and while engine still running getting out and it actually wasn't in park and the car would then move. Sounds exactly like what happened to him from the reports. That's horrible.....
