The Dear Hunter - A Night On The Town

The Bitter Suite I melody reprise is probably the highlight of the album for me.

Such a goddamn incredible song!

Slowdive - Alison

My wife's cousin/best friend of the same name committed suicide a few years ago.  We love the song, but I still can't listen to it without tearing up.  I don't think my wife has listened to the song since it happened.
"I don't know nuttin about nuttin" - Marshawn Lynch

The very soul of what was once real music is now lost in a digital quagmire of emotionless sonic madness.

There are a lot of songs like that.

Ave Maria
Moonlight Sonata
Far From Heaven
Beneath the Surface
Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley version)

A Change of Seasons  (especially "VII. The Crimson Sunset" )

So, why wouldn't you make that your username?   ;)

I'm repeating something our own Coz said elsewhere, but he's spot on:  if I never hear Hallelujah ever again - any version, including Buckley's - it'll be a bright future.  I haven't been so done with a song since "Sweet Soul Sister" by Train, or "Lightning Strikes" by Live.  It doesn't help that I think Leonard Cohen is MASSIVELY overrated.
