Cub Scout Camping Weekend - Video Game Theme - Ideas?

Hey Everyone

If you were a young cub scout (8-11 year old), what kind of video game themed/inspired events do you think would be fun? We already have one event planned where the kids need to make it to the top of a hill without being hit by any of the debris a guy in a gorilla suit at the top is throwing. A few hundred foam blocks have been purchased, and there will be Minecraft-like building contests. The games can be classic or modern day.

I thought this would be easy, but I'm struggling due to liability and safety concerns :/

make a maze a la pacman, give everyone sheets with eyeholes except the one who gets to be "pacman". they have to collect all the foam blocks which will be repurposed into the dots pacman eats. When he picks up the blocks with the special marking on them, he gets 10 seconds to run around tagging/"eating" the ghosts, each of whom has to return to "home base" after being tagged/ eaten. he must collect all the blocks without a ghost tagging him. give three "lives", or just one. ghost who tags pacman gets to be pacman next.

edit - "bonus" - if someone is really kicking butt you can come out dressed as "ms pac man" just to crack the kids up

I"m also a fan of the Hungry Hungry Hippos adult camping game but it's not  a VIDEO game unfortunately.

You can always use traditional games and just remake them as "video games."  For instance, capture the flag remade as "clash of clans" (but is really still just capture the flag).

Or you could blast The Astonishing, make up whatever you want, and say it's the new game that isn't out yet.
