Last 3 albums with Portnoy vs First 3 albums with Mangini

I spun all 6 just because of this thread

It almost pains me to say, since I've always been such a huge MP fanboi but when I listened to all these albums with fresh ears I found
myself enjoying ADToE (despite it's crappy sonic values), TA and BC&SL the most. 8V, SC and DT12 all have great songs (some of my
all time favorite from DT) but when listening to the albums in their entirety I found my attention wandering. This was also true with
sections of TA but my abridged version is amazing. So I guess if I'm being honest I enjoyed the MM albums a little more as "whole"
albums. Now if the question were MP's first 3 vs. MM's first 3 then MP wins hands down. I&W and Awake are untouchable IMO.
