Since Train is going on vacation as well, and mine is basically in the penultimate round... Maybe Dave will make an exception to the rule and allow you to start yours a few days early? I mean I anticipate mine being finished before the end of July.

This roulette is slowing down, Dennis is about to go on hiatus for a week or so, and Parama only wants to run a mini-roulette anyway.

OH man. That conference really threw me off. I'll post results in the next 48 hours. Sorry for the IMMENSE delay. I know it's unacceptable but life has been chaotic, especially since getting back into the swing of things and then my wife starts a new job next Monday.

OK guys... here's the deal...

I DO WANT TO FINISH THIS.

However.

I do not have time to listen right now, simple as that.

I'm busy taking care of my little one while the wife is at work. Can't listen effectively during that time.
I'm actively pursuing another teaching gig, one that's closer to home. Because of this, much of my free time is devoted to that.
I did about 90% of my listening while I was on my commute. I'm not doing that commute right now because it's summer break.

I'm not saying I want to give it up, I'm saying I need time to finish. I thought I would have finished by now.

It's my fault for scheduling it like this. I should have made it 8 rounds, not 10. I shouldn't have added an EP round.

Lesson learned.

That being said, it's not fair to just say "The End". I'm not ending it, but I WILL finish. It's just taking twice as long due to me being on vacation last week and me being busier than I was during the school year. Summer break my ass.

I know that sounds like a bunch of excuses, but my situation during this summer is very different than it was during the school year.

Now. I'll try to finish this round by the weekend but I can't promise anything. My daughter is doing a theater camp next week though, and that will provide a little bit of driving time for me to do some listening to finish this round and start the EP round.

Again, I'm sorry, if I had known this summer would have been like this I wouldn't have scheduled so many rounds.

Tidbits:

Probably the most joy and euphoria I've ever heard in an epic.

I can hear how [[the artist]] has influenced other artists in [[this genre]].

I just never got into it. It's a solid epic but it didn't resonate with me like the others did.

A solid epic that integrates progressive elements from both yesterday and today.

The mix of genres in this epic is astounding. And the energy never lets up.
