Awesome! And as much as I love Gary Moore, I consider Black Rose one of the weaker albums.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I've been on a Haken - Affinity binge for about a week now.  Haven't listened to anything else.

tbh i hate this album now, because i have to spend the rest of my life finding everything else inferior to it
also obsessively listening to it once or twice a month for the rest of my life, as well

U2 - Songs Of Innocence.

Such a great album. Probably their best of the 21st century. Looking forward to Songs Of Experience - whenever it comes out.

Thy Catafalque - Sublunary Tragedies

i don't want to post the album cover here tbh.
even for their earliest album this is still pretty solid honestly. there's still a good bit of variety though it's a lot more standard abm stuff

Now that I finished my listening... holy shit, this is fantastic. It's been quite a while since a record has left me such good impression on first listen. Wonderful ambient folk with some jazz; Beth's voice is...  :hefdaddy

i do like this a decent bit but it's a bit too metalcore and a bit too angry to really love, i think. might still pick it up and see tho

Thy Catafalque - Cor Cordium

there is literally no cover for this, as it is just a demo.
and yeah the sound quality is awful but
the music is pretty cool, though i think at least a few of these tracks were on the two albums that followed, which is like, fair enough, it's a demo

anyways i listened to these since there's a "the early works" compilation that's literally just their first three albums remastered, which sounds like a good time all things considered

What's the Phantom V like Brent. Decent calibre of players. The track I heard on YouTube was average though.

I would say it is better than the samples suggested but like most of my recent listens to new releases it's all very predictable and a rating around 80%.   Claus of course is the "voice of Bonfire" and he really IS Bonfire in many ways , so it sounds like a fairly average Bonfire album .   Michael Voss mucked around in Bonfire from time to time too and he has his own sound , so there are also elements of Demon Drive, Mad Max etc......    A decent album but that's about all.

I hadn't listened to this album in a very long time and I just realized how nasally M. Shadows sounds on it.  :lol

Still a good album though.
