Starting to catch up with some 2016 releases plus other stuff.

Return to Ommadawn: I love the original Ommadawn so I was a little worried about this sequel or whatever but also cautiously hyped for it. And it actually is pretty good! Although it doesn't have the fierce passion and energy of the former album, instead is more relaxing, simpler, and contemplative. Kinda fitting for a 60yo man.
Zorya: This is uhh... great electronic stuff? RYM says it's Nu Jazz, Downtempo, Ambient, IDM, yet doesn't really sound like any of those genres. Very interesting music here. Guy made the Machinarium soundtrack btw.
Channel Orange: Both roulette stuff and one of bae's top 100 (almost done with it). Kinda underwhelmed at first but it's grown a bit after some listens. Yeah I dig this R&B thing.

V: Now THIS is an album I was dead worried about - considering their last albums just expected it to succ. And it's actually good! Prob a little cheesy or overdramatic here and there but it's better than what I expected.
No Plan: Basically Lazarus plus 3 tracks that didn't make it to Blackstar. Damn, they're really good! Definitely don't fit with the record's sound but excellent songs on their own, mostly Killing a Little Time.
The Epic: Dunno, on one hand I really like some songs here, but on the other it's just so fucking long and there are several tunes I'm not into. Will prob give it a few more chances to see if it grows more on me.

So I found this super weird dude living half an hour from where I live. He sells old and new Vinyl records he found somewhere in an old storage room or so. I guess the original owner passed away. The guy has no idea whatsoever WHAT he's selling or for HOW MUCH he SHOULD be selling it, but I have found some rarities there.
First I bought STEELY DAN - EVERYTHING MUST GO, which goes away for 150-200 bucks on eBay for 25€! Also I found records by Miles Davis, Till Brönner, Yes and - and his is the reason why I post this in here - TUDOR LODGE.

Does anyone know this band? I had never heard of them until today. The dude had the only album they ever made remastered in a super cool 6-piece foldout cover and I only took it because it looked so awesome.
The music can be described as Folk, maybe a little progressive, but very sunny and late 60s. I love it! I already googled the album and found out that I made an awesome deal by buying it for 10€.

Next is the 2006 remastered version of Yes' Fragile I also bought today!! YAY!

Tonight, SOEN!

I've been going to quite a few concerts of bands I love lately but this is probably the one I was looking forward to the most, love all the songs on the setlist. The only thing I'm a bit bummed about is they play neither Void nor The Other's Fall, but the picks from Cognitive and Lykaia are near perfect

EDIT:

Man, what a great album. Have only heard it a couple times as of now but it's definitely top 3 of the year so far (admittedly haven't checked a lot of new albums out yet). Lykaia #1, but this one and the new Mastodon album are close contenders for the second spot and not even far off from Lykaia to be honest.

Britney Spears - ...Baby One More Time.

Help Me.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
