Just chiming in real quick here, I didn't plan to review individual albums of this roulette batch too much as I'm probably doing one last post once in the roulette thread once I finished it all, but..

I love this.. haven't finished through the whole thing but it's just perfect so far. Like, for beautiful soundscapes and great atmosphere in music, this is all I ever looked for. :hefdaddy

Yes, it's pretty good. Those beats are cool, they didn't use them on later albums.

it's like, the sludge metal version of opeth.
*this means it's pretty rad

also they included their EP as bonus tracks on this one too, which i'm actually kind of okay with, it's an entire two song 13 minute EP of free music

It's good Chad- mid 80's type rating.  Solid throughout with a couple of standouts - certainly worth a listen.

On my second straight day of listening to the Winery Dogs Live in Japan. Seriously can't wait for another North America tour from them.

I saw them on two separate tours behind the first album, was bummed I had to miss the first US run behind Hot Streak. I dig the tunes to begin with, Billy Sheehan is just absurd to watch live, and Mike looks like he's having as much fun behind the kit as I've seen in a long time.

I've always loved watching MP live. When I picked up the blu-ray of PSMS, and I was watching them doing Crimson Sunrise, the first thing I thought was that I miss his stage presence in DT.

Someone sent me Raise the Sun in attempt to make me like growls. The attempt wasn't successful, but I really liked the riff. It kicks ass.

fair. you'd probably at least like For Lisa tho, it's not really metal it's like a bluesy throwback piece

Just listened to it, well, it could use vocals. But not growly vocals so I guess that's why they left it as instrumental.

If that's a throwback piece, I wonder which one is the throwup piece.
