solid and kinda interesting pop but i'm not sure it does a lot for me as a whole. would maybe need to relisten but, i dunno
Ten Love Songs is better tbh, more consistent.

Ten Love Songs is her worst album and to be honest it killed off some of my interest in her. :(

so yeah. this is just the most solid thing and i'll wait to see if it grows on me with relistens but i enjoy it in the most generic sense of enjoyment, or something.

It's a massive grower.  I didn't rate it that much at first, but now I think it's absolutely brilliant!

This has been one of the nicest surprises of the year for me. I am loving this album so much and it is likely to make my top 5 of the year.

It doesn't reinvent the wheel but it sounds like the Blink I know and love. It's weird, a lot of the songs have a really familiar feel to them but it still feels fresh to me. I think the inclusion of Matt Skiba is probably what does it for me. I mean, I've always loved Alkaline Trio but when I heard Matt was going to be replacing Tom after he left I didn't think it would work.

Part of me thinks it's weird that these are guys in their 40's singing songs that wouldn't sound out of place on Blinks earlier albums. I guess I was worried it would all feel forced, but to me it really doesn't. I don't expect to find a ton of Blink fans on DTF but this great, it's just a fun record.

That Savatage album is fantastic and never gets old.  I think I'll play it in the next couple of days.

Terrestrials: Very interesting collaboration between Ulver and Sunn O))), quite atmospheric and layered. Solid.
Signs Reign Rebuilder: This is the closest I've found to GYBE!'s debut, quite interesting side project of theirs.
Silent Hill 2 OST: Yeah I love this one, it has quickly become one of my favorite soundtracks.
Year Zero: One of NIN's heaviest record, with a very distorted, modern electronic flavour, different from their industrial stuff. Also a concept album. Solid.

Wild Opera: Wilson's former band, going into more experimental territories, expanding their nice trip-hop/dance sound. Very nice.
Giles Corey: I wonder why this record has 3 different covers - not complaining tho, they're all awesome. The music is pretty simple but so depressingly devastating, really love the bleak, destroyed atmosphere. Amazing Have a Nice Life side project.

You might like Oh Hiroshima - In Silence We Yearn as well, it's only 38 minutes but pretty similar to GIAA

Awesome, that's the first post rock album I've heard and still one of my favourite.

You might like Maybeshewill - I Was Here For A Moment, Then I Was Gone, it's a little bit similiar to GIAA I think, with a little bit more piano.

Go with Lift your Skinny Fists... and Agætis Byrjun if you want to get into the big post-rock albums. Mogwai's young team would also appeal you.

Thanks. I believe I have listened to Agætis Byrjun before, but it was quite a while ago so it's definitely worth a revisit. I've got nothing at all to do tomorrow so I'll check some of these out.

It was alright.

Haven't checked that album yet, but that cover art is beautiful.
