Did you also have to build a controller board for a remote control? Like do you need to program anything or does it come with a motor set up and controller?

You can program those to an extent, but I don't bother. I just buy a remote, a speed controller, and a receiver and then just sync them all. Included software takes care of the rest.

Yup! They changed the channel for NBC for the Boston affiliate so lucky for me I checked my DVR because it wasn't set to record since they changed station #'s.
