The real magic isn't in predicting the songs/bands, it's in predicting who submitted them.

Yeah, I guess you're right.  :tup
Anciients: I think Elite and Parama

Can't make out any of the remaining songs so I think you did a pretty good job. Some loose words here and there but I guess it's not that easy to make out full song/band names if you don't know them beforehand. The things people guess correctly are usually things they already know.

I will say there has been 3 bonus bands identified.

Glad I did actually do a good job with the smudging.  I'll make a clearer pic tonight.

No, I've never heard of them before.

Me either.

Geez, I thought I'd figured out four of the "categories", and I don't see any of them here.

Byzantine - Which Light Shall Never Penetrate... no clue who'd send that, the only bonus description it fits is if he's a Halford like singer.  Don't know them, but I recognize the name.

Ummm...

Okay, pretty strong round overall.

A couple of bonus bands have been identified and the bonuses used.  No failed bonus attempts either.  Here's a pic of the songs, with the bonus bands and songs NOT included.

I also sent a bonus band, of which I'm very curious what the score will be.

We've talked alot about Voodoo Circle in the melodic rock thread, but Lionsheart were doing it long before.
Was going to send an instrumental too, and might still if I'm still in the game.

Paying attention....................

at least one person listens to me!

We got Cheater Chad naming bands he doesn't know.

I've never heard their music, but I recognized the band name, and took a quick peek at their discog to get the title.  Perfectly acceptable cheating.  ;D  But, I won't cheat and find the song for these...

The Black Mages
Recon - Dreams

Yep, except for the song title of the The Black Mages song, I think. "Maybe ... Life"?
