My latest orchestral album now on Spotify

It's a compilation of pieces I've composed for films. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks!

Sounds really cool!

What do you use to make this? Or do you actually have a giant orchestra at your disposal? :lol

Thanks! I wish... I use a bunch of sound libraries. I'm actually working on a feature film right now and I'll have a real string section to use for the first time. That'll be fun!

Sounds awesome, scoring a picture would be really fun to do one day. I've made some movie-ish music in the past, and while I'm rather happy with it, I understood then how hard it is. So respect to you.

I use a bunch of sound libraries.

May I ask for specifics? Me and the band need to use orchestral sounds for our stuff but don't really know where to look, and your music sounds really grand and legit.

I mix different libraries but what I tend to use with my band The Storyline a lot (we do prog, what a surprise) is Hollywood Strings & Brass. Check out our Youtube channel if you want to hear it in that context, you can find the link in my signature :)

For film music I use the Hollywood series and Stormdrum from EWQL, Albion, Omnisphere, some of my own samples, some Kontakt libraries etc... and usually layer my distorted prog leads under the biggest melodies as well!

Listened to Unchained, sounds great, really well done.

I will check some of that out.
