I wouldn't dare. I don't even praise it as much as most TMV fans do but I think the chorus is one of the best they've done. If I could somehow send the first two chapters and the second to last chapter without completely ruining the song I might've.

And to be honest I never thought The Mars Volta were roulette material anyway.

yeah tbh i don't really dig frances the mute in general, de-loused is their best but i like amputechture a lot more than frances regardless

I love Frances, though I would never doubt anyone not liking it, I love the extended jams but they seem to really turn off people. That said, my favorite song on the album and favorite TMV song is L'Via L'Viaquez and I would like it even more without the outro.

De-loused is stellar, really impressive stuff seeing it's their first full length studio album. I can't see it passing Frances in my rankings but the #2 spot is pretty much set in stone.

Here's a bold guess at the current standings:

1. bl5150
2. Shadow Ninja 2.0
2. jingle.boy
4. Tyrias
5. Train of Naught
6. splent
6. Evermind
8. senecadawg2
9. Tomislav95
10. Elite

Just realized I can't share the same place with splent because his bonus star is worthless worth less than mine now. So I'm pretty sure I'm ahead of him.

Yea, I didn't put enough thought in it, I just compared the stars and made a rough estimation of their worth, forgot about the bonus stars degrading thingy.

I'm not even gonna bother guessing, if I fail miserably with only 2 results in I can't imagine getting any closer when more stars come into play :lol

That Euzen song is excellent  :loser:

Indeed.

I'm just waiting on Elite to send now. Also I won't be able to listen to anything until later tonight, so I will verify bonus star eligibility then and let anyone know if their song is not eligible.

Also this round will probably be delayed somewhat, as I have received a 31 minute song.

I made up for that 31-minute song by sending a song under 3 minutes.
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.

It's not mine. My song is 9 1/2 minutes.

I don't think I'm getting the diamond star. I'll settle for the cubic zirconia star.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

Well you're all in and the bonus stars you have all asked for are acceptible. I'll post a blurry image tomorrow, but for now, here are the bonus stars being awarded in this round...

...Two ruby, one sapphire, two emerald, and one amethyst. :lol

Liar! I asked for a garnet one and you refused me >:(.

Jk, I know it was quite a borderline case.

And I do hope the 2 ruby stars are worse than mine.

Yea, your ballad was rejected because there were too many power metal riffs in it, it took away from the overall ballad feel.

I had planned to submit in three other categories but symphonic/orchestral song popped from nowhere and I couldn't not send it.

Not fucking bad!

Don't mind admitting this is mine, since a few of you already got it from me in prior roulette's.

I have completed my first listen. First impressions and all, so subject to change...but at the moment I feel that this is easily the weakest of the five rounds I've received thus far.

I hope you still like my song though :P.

I can only see Chad's song and mine, but what the hell:

Arena - Spurred Horses
Savory Bandit - Hanged by Earrings
Guns as Garments - Yo Yo Girl Stand By Me (going with Splent on this one :lol )
John Mitchell - Blue (I wanted to write "Blur" first but the last letter is obviously "e". I'm also reasonably sure it's not John Mitchell from Lonely Robot because he doesn't have any solo albums as far as I know.)
The Doors - Solid Hobo
Dimension Act - Drawing the Lines of Mortal Existence
God Is An Astronaut - Getting A Star
The Dear Hunter - Waves
Anthriel - Distorted Lights (let's see if I can squeeze Anthriel in every round)

The last song is mine and that should give you a rather good hint about the band. Oh, and I'm still rather confident about my song.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.
