It's a shame that Nic Cage does all these terrible B-movies these days.

He's generally the best part of them if thats any consolation. He also does end up in good movies occasionally, most likely by accident.

The bigger shame is that other good actors are trapped in this film to be directed by Mario Van Peebles, and that a very good film could be based on this story (but this likely won't be it).

I read about this incident a while back. If I was one of those survivors, screw lifejackets, I would be terrified to get in the bathtub the rest of my life.

And good to see Tom Sizemore. I have always liked his work. Hope this means he is clean and sober, and back on the right track.
