I think Wilson is already elite. I put him around 3 or 4 in the QB rankings, alongside Brees, and below Rodgers and Brady (who are clearly the top two). 

But I think there are a few young QBs who could be elite very soon - Carr, Mariotta, Prescott, Winston, Luck (if we can still consider him a young QB).

I think you and I have different definitions of "elite QBs".

Heard something interesting from Jason La Confora the other day. He was saying in the 3rd quarter when the Pats were moving the ball, but not with any sense of urgency, in real time he was wondering if Belichick told McDaniels to just control the ball and time of possession, to avoid being blown out. Obviously a moot point now. But an interesting thought.

I would say that is more of a ridiculous thought than an interesting one.

Makes sense, but I probably would have kept a thought that foolish to myself, if I were him.

Leaving other QBs out of the convo for a minute here, I think it's funny seeing some still try to argue that Montana was better than Brady all-time.  I've thought Brady was ahead of him for a while now anyway, but after last week, it's case closed now, IMO.

True, but even if some would say it is fake, a little humility is always nice.  Not everyone is going to be an ass like Ricky Henderson, proclaiming himself the best ever second after breaking a record.
