Prophets of rage (3/4 of rage against the machine)
« on: June 05, 2016, 05:31:35 PM »
Rage against the machine sans De la rocha have teamed up with chuck D and B Real to form the super group prophets of rage.

I would rather have rage proper, but hey, its better than nothing I guess

So it's Audioslave minus Chris Cornell

They like forming bands without Zack...

Chris Cornell is incredible but Audioslave was horrendously lackluster. I saw one video of these guys and it looked a lot more promising.

Yes. Audioslave were as exciting as dishwater as they say.

EP is out now.  Has remakes of Rage and PE songs.

"I don't know nuttin about nuttin" - Marshawn Lynch

The very soul of what was once real music is now lost in a digital quagmire of emotionless sonic madness.

I saw them a couple weeks ago.  Was not a fan of any of the bands they came from honestly, but they put on a fun show.

https://youtu.be/pk5E5yXV03M for my video of them

And yes, I did spend 25 bucks on that hat  :lol  It's now hanging proudly in my basement.

New song

https://www.metalsucks.net/2017/05/06/video-prophets-of-rage-rage-against-the-machine-public-enemy-cypress-hill-premiere-new-song-unfuck-the-world-live/

Much, much better than the other original songs they put out so far. This feels so much more balanced to what the 2 singer dynamic can provide and is just catchy/cool in general

An album worth of songs of this caliber and I will be a happy camper

That was dope. Always enjoying Tom Morello's stage presence, really doing his own thing as always.
Not 'Down To F***', but 'Dream Theater Forums' .
