LOTR Prequels - Born of Hope & The Hunt For Gollum

I was sitting down to watch these again when I wondered if anyone else had seen these, so I figured I'd share them here for everyone to discuss.  If you're unfamiliar with these movie shorts, they were made by fans of Tolkien and shared freely.

The Hunt For Gollum takes place during the period of Fellowship of the Ring and details Aragorn's search for Gollum, hoping to find him before he is captured by Sauron's servants. Born of Hope details the events surrounding the birth of Aragorn and the dangers he and his family faced living out in the open.

I hadn't heard of these, but they sound intriguing.  Will have to check them out.

They're really well done and even won a couple of independent film awards.

I watched The Hunt for Gollum a few years ago on YT. I don't recall if I ever finished it. If I remember right, I was killing time at work and then had to stop it suddenly...and then promptly forgot about it. I think I remember a lot of orc killing mostly.

I'll watch it again, Prog. Thanks for the reminder.
