Well, take it entirely away from the list and the resulting top 10 looks good for me
It's not that I don't like the song, it's good, but when I discovered Kamelot, they had their own unique brand of metal; they were positive without being happy-happy-helloweenish, uplifting and catchy music with a one of a kind singer; with The Black Halo they slowly started to gear towards a more sinister, gothic-ey, dare I say "mainstream" sound, to fit better with an image of bands and music styles that could be found plenty out there, and while they're still putting out quality albums, I never really loved that phase.
It's like with Symphony X, now the metal is very at the front of their sound, so people who discovered them when the prog was at the forefront (I'm making things simple in a very exagerated way for the sake of comparison) may still long for the more diversified sound of the earlier albums rather than the latest chugga-chugga ones.
Anyway, it was a fun ride through all the albums!
and thanks to you Evermind for running this, you always had the most detailed and precise recaps round after round!
