I didn't actually check if you know the band I just sent, but I figured you don't, so you may remove the shaming from the thread title. I'm eagerly awaiting results from now on :corn

Uhhh, sending a long song wasn't a requirement per se, right? Or else I'll have to send something 3 times as long as the song I sent instead.

Mine was long because I have no chance anyway so why not.

Then it's only a matter of time

Why not? It's a flawless song, deserves more recognition (even though it's fairly popular at this point already) and gets great scores as far as I know.

Just checked the last.fm,  :tup to whoever sent Citizen Erased, amazing song. Though I doubt Sacul will like it for some reason.

"Boring riff, annoys me to death tbh. This song is alright but it's too repetitive and the singer is annoying as hell, sounds like some shitty Dream Theater cover of Never Enough." +2.5/5

Citizen Erased is great until the awful phaser effect at the end

I never even thought of sending Muse in a roulette, but if I would, New Born would be my first and only thought for it. Best Muse song by far IMO.

*looks at last.fm*
“Huh, Sacul listened to Birds. WTF is up with that track order though?”
*looks it up, the international edition of the album has a totally different track order*

Anyway, you may wanna try the original album order. It could just be that I’m used to it one way and not the other though.

I quite liked it, but I'll try it with the new tracklist soon :P

EDIT: Well, now that everyone can get into last.fm and check the songs, I'll post the remaning ones that aren't on Spotify bun on a YT playlist:

JOANNA NEWSOM - Emily
GLORYHAMMER - The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee (Live)
Spock's Beard - The Light (Live)
Homestuck - Moonsetter

Have fun guessing who sent what  :corn

We'll never be able to guess who sent Homestuck.

Glad that none of my EP artists have been sent. Unless you have a last-minute rule to throw a wrench into the works, mine is good to go. :letam:

Genuinely though, I can take The Light and Flow and leave everything else Neal Morse has ever done, with SB, solo or Transatlantic. In those two songs, he did everything I feel the need to hear him do.

Pretty funny how the first song on a band's debut album is the best song the band ever makes.

Fun facts about this round:

  • It has both the longest (duh) AND the shortest songs of the roulette.
  • There's quite a difference between the top tracks and the bottom ones, with little in between.
  • 3 soundtracks wtf.
  • Someone in the top 5 has sent a dud and lost his place  :corn
  • Two of these songs are really, really fucked up. One is amazing, the other sucks ass.

Expect relistening results tomorrow.

My song could be one of the really fucked up ones, and depending which way it lands, so to speak, it's totally believable that Sacul might love it or hate it.

It'd have to get like a 1.5 to get me booted out of the top 5 though, surely.   :lol

I wonder if this one is decided after the relistening bonuses, or does this person still have a chance to enter the finals with relistening results?
