i usually suck too but that's like, the very specific sound of the vocals in the song i sent so i'll be shocked if someone else sent a song with the exact same style of vocals  :lol

Dammit, mine is a meh one, I'm positive. I KNEW I should have sent the other song from that album I was going to...
I don’t know what to put here anymore

I could see the song I sent going either way, so I dunno which mine is, and I'm not gonna try and guess how it went down.

I fear the one about the great instrument work but awful voice is mine. I hope the voice will still grow on you, it did for me.

You know, with 15 participants I don't even care to try and guess which of these tidbits is mine anymore.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

  • Sound is the factor which holds it together

Now I regret not exploring more of these guys' music - this one is pretty good, specially the piano work.

Quite sure this is about the song I sent  :azn:

Well, there's a lot of comments I can confirm are not mine, but also a lot of very generic one's.
I'm thinking one of these is mine:

I like this, is pretty chill. Dunno what genre this is, but I like what I hear.

Expect results this Saturday evening! Preliminar scores range from 3 to 4, heh. Not a very strong round, but I'm sure some of these tunes will grow on me.

Mine is probably 3.

Thinking about my song, I have no idea why I've sent it because I don't even like it that much. However, I've got a perfect retort for your write-up if you'll write what I think you'll write.

And if it will seem I've got no chance to win, I'll stop sending songs from the list and send all my prepared songs, and if I'm still isn't in position to win, I'll go with Winger - Seventeen and tunes like that for the last three picks.

Hoping for a 3.5, but I'm getting less confident in my song because it;s kinda repetitive and I fear Lucas will find it grating

Yeah mines pretty repetitive too. I don't think it's grating, but I'm thinking my comment is the it doesn't really go anywhere (it's just not that kind of song)

My problem with repetitive music is more about basic predictable structures - hell, Swans repeat their music over and over, evolving their ideas with slow pace yet I quite like their stuff, so repetitive in that sense doesn't apply to me :P

\o For both Tom Waits and Bohren. Though I'd be more likely to send something from Piano Nights than Sunset Mission.

I sampled a bit of Sunset Mission and liked it enough to add it, but feel free to send from either :P
