Alright, I added all of the definite ones. How did I forget Headspace and Tiles?
As for the "likely" / TBA ones, I'd like to keep TBA list as non-bloated as possible, and as some of the bands SoundscapeMN mentioned were featured in 2015 Release Date Calendar TBA section since January, I'm a bit wary of adding them. I've added Fates Warning as I definitely remember them saying all the music is done and they're aiming for first-half-of-2016 release, Marillion is already there in the doubt-list (it's kinda reserved for the big bands ), but I'm doubtful about the others.
SoundscapeMN, if possible, can you narrow the list to the bands you're almost certain they'll do a release in 2016? For example, I know Daniel from PoS said he's writing the new stuff with Ragnar, but there have been no word (as far as I know) about 2016 and knowing how Road Salt II was repeatedly delayed, I'm reluctant to add them to the list until any official announcement.
(I know Tool are on the list, but this is more a joke than anything else.)
without a release date or any info, there's no certainty, but the list I posted above is mostly artists who have written and/or recorded music for a new release.
I mean go ahead and just add the ones with actual release dates, but odds are most if not all the other artists on the list I posted above will have an album coming out in 2016, so they'll be added eventually.
January:
8: David Bowie - Blackstar
15: Brooke Waggoner - Sweven
22: The Besnard Lakes - A Coliseum Complex Museum
February
5: Obscura - Arkoasis
5: Field Music - Commontime
12: Cloud Cult - The Seeker
15: Hands of Despair - Bereft
April
22: dredg - Catch Without Arms (Vinyl) (4/22/16)
Probably/Likely:
Dream the Electric Sleep
Klimt 1918 – Die Sentimentale Jugend
The Mercury Tree
Radical Face - The Family Tree III: Leaves
The Woods Brothers - The Woods Brothers
Dream the Electric Sleep worked with producer Nick Raskulinecz last Summer; I don't know why theiir album wouldn't come out in 2016 if they spent a lot of time and money in the studio working with him.
The Mercury Tree the last time I saw them in September, said they were looking to release a new album this fall, and that at that point, all but 25% of it was recorded.
Radical Face had a lengthly email about their next record and more or less certain it would be coming out in the early part of 2016

So things are on the move again. I am now completely done with both The Family Tree: The Leaves and the full album of all The Bastards (it includes volumes 1 – 4 of the EPs). They have been mastered, all the art is done, release dates are being set.
I wanted to get something out this fall, since that's when The Leaves was supposed to be done and available. Then life got very dark and strange, and we're still dealing with that,
so that record won't be available until early next year."
