Yeah, that is some good stuff.

Too many beers to post about last night.

I've lost my taste for beer. Maybe it's a phase. All I drink is wine and bourbon and also when I occasionally make my kickass ass-tearing bloody marys.  ;)

Yes they're  :P :lol

The high alcohol beers should be aged.  They mellow out with time.

I think it's because my tastes are a bit stronger now, so beers are just too bland. But a nice hearty beer, like a double-smoked ale, would probably interest me.

We are in the jackpot for snow.  At least it will be fluffy.  Not the wet, heavy snow.

In.

It's 73° outside at it brings to mind summer time drinks. I don't know what to call this but it's 3 oz. premium white rum (like Coral Bay), 1/2 oz of agave nectar, the juice of one lime. Shake over ice for about 2 minutes. Pour over fresh ice into a whisky glass. Hit it with four dashes of Scrappy's lime bitters.

Continuing to be in. First was Damos Gracias, a beer from one of the assistant brewers at Hill Farmstead made with cranberries, hibiscus, sage, and orange peel. Managed to pull off the spicing pretty well. Now on to Snow Owl imperial stout aged in rum barrels with coconut. From a brewery I never heard of and fairly tasty. May have one more in me after this one.

I was pretty well in yesterday with some friends. About a dozen of us in total drinking mostly sour beers while I brewed my own.

Taking it easy for the most part today, but finishing my weekend with a Clown Shoes Hammer of the Beast. It's a blend of barleywine and imperial stout that was aged in rum barrels. I mostly haven't been thrilled with the Clown Shoes beers I've had, but this one is pretty damn solid :tup
