I've still got bottles going back to 2012.

I was all kinds of productive this morning. Now camped out on the couch for the afternoon for football.

This is beautiful... still trying to find that stuff. Every year, I fail.

Are you in the US? If so and I get more than one bottle next year I'll send you some.
Photobucket sucks.

That's a colorful haul!

Picked up a 22 oz bottle of High Water Brewing's Campfire Stout. Smells heavily of graham crackers and chocolate. Tastes like a dessert beer, not too heavy on the alcohol or sweetness. Amazing beer, glad I picked it up on a whim.

So who here is old enough to remember when a bloody mary was something you drank? Over the years it's become something you stick food into. This shit has to stop already.

I'm in with the Tomintoul sampler I got for Christmas - 25 year, and 10 year. Yum yum. I had the 16-year on the weekend.

Is that in Charlotte lol? There is a place that sticks a burger on top of a bloody mary, the burgers are delicious, just stick them on a fucking plate.

Nothing besides the shrimp look appetizing on that, including the "drink" part.  It kind of feels like a restaurant trying to get a video clip of their "crazy different food" or drink to go viral.

The place is in Fort Worth. And this has been a trend for a while. If you google crazy bloody marys you'll see a whole shit-ton of such carnage. You've got places out there having to build trusses for their glasses to hold all this stuff up. One place has a damn pizza dangling over the side, FFS.

I'll give these guys style points, though. Even still, as much as I dig soft shelled crabs, it's still wrong and needs to stop.

That one's definitely not as bad, it's one single dish served on top and actually looks yummy and is clearly part of a theme.  The other pic was such a clusterfuck of things mixed in a way to look special, when it just looks ridiculous IMO.

I'm a whiskey guy but mainly stick to Jack Daniels. I feel like going a little above that tonight and grabbing a bottle of something new, but not extremely pricey. Suggestions? I'm actually leaning towards the Gentleman's Jack because it's delicious and smooth(er), but getting something not Jack would be nice.
