The moment you realize you need a second fridge from your beer hauls.

And a small fridge was purchased and it's plugged in. :lol

What are your favorite stouts and porters?

I wouldn't call myself a beer snob but those are my favorite types. Favorite brewery is Ballast Point, although it's very expensive to buy their stuff in Illinois ($14-15 for a six pack here). But the stuff is so good... They also make the only IPAs I've been able to drink regularly, that's the opposite end of the spectrum and I just can't do those. I need a dark, heavy, coffee (sometimes chocolatey) stout. Sometimes a hefeweizen hits the spot (Hoegaarden especially).

Going to go beer browsing this evening. Not sure what I'll get yet.

You can only get that going to Hill Farmstead in Vermont on special release days.

Great Divide make nice ones.  They are More assailable.  The Yeti series.  Try them.

Last night went to a Rutgers bar with the gf (she's an alum) and they had 99 beers, got a North Coast Pranqster which I really liked.

Tonight, chilling home, working on a video after a day of gaming.  In, my typical grey goose and club.

Herrick is drinking Bourbon (Michael Evans) & Pepsi. I used to drink a lot of Heineken but these days I have to drink many beers to gain the beneficial effects so I've switched to Bourbon.

In. Sitting on an njtransit train heading to the big Apple for some Haken tonight. The only good thing about njtransit is that you can drink on the trains. I brought a vodka club in a bottle with me.  The car has a bunch of other boozers in it as well.  :metal

Fire pit drinking is second only to full-blown camping drinking. Hell yeah!

One of the benefits of my job is sometimes I have to go into the city to get some parts. Today I happened to swing by a big chain of liquor stores (Friar Tuck) and found two Ballast Point beers I've been wanting to try for a while: cinnamon raisin commodore stout, and red velvet nitro (golden oatmeal stout with beets). I got so happy when I saw them on the shelves. I hope they're good, I'm going to try one of each tonight.
