That's so nice you have that wooded area, it's all new development where I live and incredibly bare. We have six trees on our property and they are babies.

I've all ready had 11 trees drop and or we took down.  The flood thing is it shades us from neighbors.

God bless whoever invented the shower beer. I've taken two showers today, and both were improved immensely by a can of pils from Cambridge Brewing Company.

Joe, I saw on Twitter today that Sunset declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I think it said something like 5 million in debts and 500K in unpaid taxes.
Photobucket sucks.

I love coming home and having a shower beer. Best thing about our new house is it has a tile seat in it, so I can seat and drink lol.

Nice. My sister got me a beer holder that suction cups to the the shower wall for Christmas. Pretty handy, as it's sized for cans but will also work with a stemmed glass if I'm drinking one of my beers on tap.

That's awesome.  We used to always drink in the showers at Penn State when I lived in the dorms (and yea that sounds bad already  :lol) but it was a habit I still occasionally do it when Im trying to get ready for an evening of drinking.

I'm not the man I used to be. I can still hold my liquor and drain the bar while maintaining lucidity and control, it just takes a heavier toll on me the next day. I won't be sick, but I will have a headache and be moving very slowly for a lot longer than I ever used to. Oh well, older and wiser, I suppose.

Founders Doom.  An imperial IPA aged in bourbon barrels.  It was average surprisingly.

Onto some bourbon on the rocks.

Bourbon barrel aged IPAs are a waste of both good hops and good bourbon barrels. Brewers who make them should feel bad about themselves.

It's hot out, so a nice refreshing Spaten Pils.

My beer of choice after the transplant. Don't like ales anymore, but a frosty cold pils really floats my boat.

Yeah, I've really come around on pils after it being one of the few styles I didn't like for a while. Actually going up to Portland Maine next month for a craft beer festival that's going to be all pilsner.

9 days off saweeet.

Probably make a drink tonight, I really cut back on my alcohol consumption over the last couple months, but we are going into a long weekend and work is already completely dead so maybe tonight I make a drink and kill some noobs in the battlegrounds.

Excellent :hat going anywhere Coz?

Yes and no.  Saturday, late, I'm putting a pork butt in the smoker for Sunday, and we'll hang at the house for a few days.  Wednesday, the 5th, we're going bright and early to Wildwood, NJ.  Staying at a place that had sketchy reviews, but they have a swim up tiki bar.  Fuck it, I'll bring a drop cloth and several blankets to cover the bed, I don't care.

SWIM UP TIKI BAR

Then we'll be hitting up a brewery or two in the vicinity.  Sofa king excited.

It's called the Oceanic and it's right across from the convention center.  Some reviews were like "Eww", some were like "Sure, it's dated, but so is Wildwood itself, this place is fine."
