I'm proud to say that I didn't drink as much for Cinco de Mayo as I usually do when I go out, but I'm at a weird state of drunken-ness when I'm simultaneously tired and full of energy. I want to fall asleep but am wide awake at the same time.

A friend of mine is getting everyone to have a glass of Smuggler's Cove rum (great stuff, from up in Cape Breton), ginger ale, and a "pour" (his words) of vanilla, because it's totally the new drink he invented. Well, I didn't want to be rude.
