I had two beers last night when I went out with a few friends to watch the Blues game, and this morning felt hungover when I woke up. :lol  This is what happens when you almost never drink anymore. I have zero tolerance left.

I hope not  :lol

My coworker and I were out to lunch today and we ranked our 5 member team on whos the bigger drinkers and we have a clear breakdown of the five of us that hits all spectrums

Boss - Alcoholic
Me - Heavy drinker
Coworker in NJ - Social drinker
Coworker in Amsterdam - Hardly ever drinks.  Will have a beer if forced. (and yes, we will do all we can to get him to have a beer when we go out there or he comes here)
Coworker in LA - Never drinks, never had a drink.

Never in life :lol

On the couch catching up on the DVR (now playing: The Americans). I've had a Skadoosh (rotating one off IPA) and a Farmer's Daughter (saison) from The Alchemist so far. Probably one more hoppy can from them while I'm at home and then I'll smuggle another one into the theater for my 11pm showing of the new Fast & Furious movie.

It's been a dry week for me. The last drink I had was a glass of Knob Creek at my brother's house last Sunday for Ostara.

I haven't heard someone mention Ostara in a decade. My old roommate is an Asatru Gothi and I kinda lost track of him around 2005 or so. His wife was wiccan, I believe.

Anyway, King, I got pretty hammered last night and I'm having a bunch of Bailey's in my coffee this morning, so the bender challenge is still on.

Doing an inventory of my liquor this morning in anticipation of a run to the bottle shop, I noticed that it's been two weeks since I bought a handle of Bombay Sapphire. Usually it only takes me a week to go through a bottle. I was starting to pat myself on the back for my restraint util I noticed how low I was on bourbon and tequila.  :lol

In.  Made my way into NYC for the Delain and Hammerfall concert tonight.  I don't know what to expect for the turnout tonight, I've seen Delain 3 times but only as an opener and Hammerfall hasn't toured the US in awhile (I'm not too familiair, they've always been a bit too generic power metal for me).  Should be fun though.

Current situation: a very nice Kolsch ale from Aviator Brewing  (a local brewery), accompanied by a Hellion from Oliva.

Currently relaxed on the couch watching hockey and enjoying a Firestone Walker Pivo Pils. Simple, wonderful beer, especially with the warm weather this weekend.

Started drinking Thursday night and had some hair of the dog Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Booyah.  The festival had a pretty crap selection of beer, so I stuck with Goose IPA.
