FINAL ROUND RESULTS:
Elite – “Mammal Sauce” – Crochduster
Abysmal. 4 points for effort. But it was a pain to listen to, and that’s OK. I think that’s the point but I have to give it what it truly deserves.
4/10
Kingshmegland – “Earth Bound” – Rocket Scientists
I’m not really big on this one, honestly. I found myself kinda bored sitting through it, unfortunately. The vocals aren’t very enjoyable, to me. I like the synth sections, and the keys are what make the song, but everything else isn’t too interesting. I wish I liked this like you did.
6/10
Splent – “The Fifth Wheel” – Worlds
So your dad does the vocals? That’s pretty badass! This really isn’t my kind of music, but I like it for what it is. The vocals are pretty good, and the music is nice. It’s not something I can see myself listening to a lot of, but it was a fun listen. There’s sort of an epic feel to this.
7.5/10
Shadow Ninja 2.0 – “Shatter Me (Ft. Lzzy Hale) – Lindsey Stirling
Cool mix of strings and electronics. It’s a pretty cool tune. Catchy melodies and nice vocals, this song has a lot to offer. I’ve said before I’m not really huge on electronic stuff. It’s nothing I don’t care to hear, it’s just it’s not usually one of my usual choices. I like getting stuff like this in roulettes cause it’s usually out of my comfort zone.
8/10
Tom Bombadil – “Can-Utility and the Coastliners” – Genesis
Genesis is another classic band I’ve been wanting to check out, especially this album and a few others. I like what I hear, though. This is probably a grower, though. I can definitely see what you like about it, but it doesn’t hit me near the way you do. I definitely enjoy their sound though, and I can see myself really liking them when I check them out more.
8.5/10
Train of Naught – “Set Fire to the Hive” – Karnivool
I was sent another song from this album last roulette, and I like this one a lot better. I believe it was “The Caudal Lure”. Though this one is much more enjoyable for me. Great drumming and musicianship, and a truly rocking song. I’m a big fan of the vocals. First time listening to this band was just, meh, nothing special, but after hearing this, I’m really wanting to hear more, If it’s anything in this vein.
8.5/10
Scorpion – “The Garden of Fire” – Wilderun
This is kick-ass. The guitar playing is awesome, and the vocals are pretty good. The harsh ones are actually pretty nice as well, they kind of have that monotonous feel to them that I seem to enjoy so much (BTBAM). I don’t really know what else to say is that it’s really fun and the intro is really badass. Makes me feel like I’m riding a 3 legged horse into the winds of time. Fuckin’ ballin’.
9/10
Sacul – “The Octuple Personality and Eleven Crows 8 and a bunch of stuff I don’t know what it means” – World’s End Girlfriend
Like I said before, this song is extremely beautiful, but considering electronic based stuff isn’t really one of my big interests, it feels sort of like a distraction at times. I know that’s the intention to have this unsettling incorporation of these noises, but I just kinda wish they weren’t there, or at least a little lower. I like when they play more of a backseat role to the beautiful piano melodies and such. Very good song, but I think that’s what is keeping it from getting a ten.
9.5/10
Senecadawg2 – “She Remembers” – Max Richter
What is she remembering? Maybe I need to go ahead and watch this after I finish Six Feet Under. I know nothing about this show but the picture of the man smashing his hand in the wall with intense emotion in combination with this song really is beautiful. That’s quite something considering I know nothing at all. You really know the way to my heart with these beautiful scores. There are times when I think it’s my favorite kind of music: Scores for movies/tv, there’s some really beautiful stuff. Good job mate, finishing on top in a DOMINATING fashion.
9.5/10
Parama – “Take Your Time (Coming Home”) – fun.
Love this song, man. I’ve listened to this group before, like the big hits, but man, this is fucking good. I didn’t know they were capable of making something this great. The vocals are definitely interesting, but they really sit well with me. This song just makes me happy listening to it, and I’m hoping they have other stuff this good. Of course I bet this is an unnoticed song from them. His vocals really make the song, and I love the constant buildup throughout the song. You seem to manage to end roulettes extremely well, despite not finishing very high this time, you’ve sent some great stuff.

I'm actually very surprised Parama finished so low, considering he sent 2 of the best roulette songs. Really the top 3 was in a league of their own, with Seneca winning comfortably. It was an anti-climactic finish, but this whole thing was a blast!
Just for fun, here's the Top 10 songs of the roulette (Ratings for these songs don't really apply, as you might see a 9.5 be higher than a 10 or something like that. This is how I currently feel as I would probably rate certain songs lower or higher than I did initially):

2. The Unlikely Event of a Water Landing - Intronaut (Parama)
