I have arrived.
« on: September 10, 2015, 04:59:07 PM »
I've spent the past 12 years on the Petrucci forum. I just opened an account here. The first question I have is.. are we required to enter all the questions and captcha nonsense for every post?

I don't think so. I don't. I think it's just because it's your first post.
I don’t know what to put here anymore

We only make Rush fans do that.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Wait, so DTF has 4402 members and no one was called 'Rush' up until this point? :eek

Sycsa is perhaps the most brilliant and insightful man I have ever encountered.

FUCKING RIGHT?
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

All the others have spontaneously combusted.  Ultimately, their accounts were deleted, because it's kinda cool watching it happen over and over.

My thoughts exactly. Welcome aboard, Rush! Unless of course your masterplan all along was to just sign in with an epic username, post once, then just sit back and :corn while the rest of us overanalyze this to death. In which case, congratulations!  :tup

The Arrival of Journey would've been much more interesting.

Someone will probably make another account just to change that.
