Is there any specific judging criteria for the qualifying rounds?

No, not really hahaha.  I'll read through Chad's OP properly.  Just wanna see if there is any set things that would instantly rule me out, although I'm sure Chad would sneak me through no matter what *wink wink*

^ Caption winner.  :lol :lol

For the tl;dr people (like Kade)... it's binary.  1 or 0; in or out.  I'm using 1 or 2 qualifying rounds to get it down to 10 participants.

Won't know unless you try.  You were on your game last time around - Subsignal and Yargos both ended up being discography purchases; Freakeys and Dominici were highly enjoyed too.  Put your big boy panties on and get in here.

It's better to burn out than to fade away.

Good god that new last.fm design is killing me. How do I sort the library by artist name? I used to be able to do that...

You can't. But if you've got a particular artist in mind that you want to check for in his library, you can just put the band name in the URL. https://www.last.fm/user/jingle-boy/library/music/Flaming+Row for example.

Thanks - that's a help.  As is the link in the OP to the iTunes list - it's a bit all over the place but once you figure out what's up it's easy enough to follow.

Just had a re-read of your last roulette to see what I (and others) sent. The title is definitely up for grabs, finding things you haven't heard will be a nightmare. Good to see this one will be simpler than the last

My tastes.  For those that don't know, figure it out yourself :lol.  I will do this however - if you send a band that I already know I'm not that much of a fan of (eg, Opeth, C&C), I'll warn you that you're taking a risk.  Sometimes there's a reason that a certain band doesn't have many last.fm plays - it's because I think they suck, or I don't "get" them.  Feel free to take that risk, but I'll forewarn you.

That was me, last time. Eliminated in the first round  :lol

I've learned much since then... hopefully

Kade... I'll just quote your own damned self:

I will have to check my log when I get home but I own somewhere between 2000 - 2100 cd's.

DVD's I'm not sure, I probably have about 300.

Note those posts were in over three years ago, so coupled along with this ...

Sometimes I have bought up to 20 cd's at one time.

That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad

I know I know lol.  Looking through my selections, there is heaps of stuff.  Don't worry, I'm in and will actually use this to rediscover some of my own purchases, looking forward to it.

The amount of cd's I have that I haven't listened to is just plain stupid.

Is there no way to search through the artists on this lastfm?  The old version you could.

EDIT:  It's all good, I'll use the xlsx, that's probably easier.
