Nice to see that these 3 are the definitive choices, so far.

As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

For me, it's definitely SDOIT, 8VM, and SFAM, in that order. After that, I have a hard time sticking to an order of how I like the albums.

HEY EVERYONE WHATS YOUR 12 FAVOURITE DREAM THEATER ALBUMS AND ONE EP ?
You asked, although I won't include an EP.

At this very moment:

SDOIT
8VM
SFAM
DT12
I&W
Awake
TOT
ADTOE
SC
FII
BC&SL
WDADRU

Awake
Dream Theater

This - although I have DT 12 higher than Awake and , on any given day , ADTOE could take Awake's spot.

DT12 could easily take Awakes spot for me too.  But those three are locked in with I&W the leader by a good margin.

Images is obvious. I'm a Dream Theater Unitarian in that regard.

ADTOE is almost as easy of a choice for second place.

Third is the hardest to pick. I voted FII because it needs love, but SFAM could also have been it. DT12 and BCSL also knocking on the door.

goes to show how strong of a catalog they have when all albums are voted at least once as being in the top 3.

When WDADU has more than 0 votes for top 3 DT albums, I think it just goes to show that either the poll is broken, or people's opinions are broken. :neverusethis:

I know kingshmeg has a stock response to this now. :lol
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.
