i can still sing this. me and my friends thought this was hilarious when I was abuot 6. I remember my dog was named snoopy and one day me and a friend were eating chicken noodle soup for lunch after preschool and were having hysterics saying "THERE GOES SNOOPY DOWN THE DRAIN!" and falling off our chairs.

Yeah, not funny anymore. :lol

Uh oh... *beepbeep!* Better get Maaco!!

I can't believe I ate the whole thing...

Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is...

Mine is the shiny city on a hill and yours, of course, are the colors that fill it
So put your hand in the hand of mine and we'll spread this love like dandelions...

Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

When I was in junior high, we used to sing "Plop plop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is" in the context of someone taking a dump.  It worked.

We were so funny.

Feeling old again today.  I realized that I'm now finding more music that I actually want to listen to on the "Oldies" station than on the "Classic Rock" station.  In general, I probably like the songs on the Classic Rock station better, but they play like the same 100 or so classics over and over.  No variety.  In fact, they even make a huge deal out of it when they do play "deep cuts" or "long tracks".  Fuck that.  The Oldies station plays some poppier stuff, but I'm hearing a lot of great songs that I forgot about.

It might just be a phase, but damn, I listen to "Oldies" now.  I'm pretty sure that makes me old.

Wow, good luck :) I think we should have lots of posts of encouragement and awesomeness waiting here for him when he gets back, guys.

But we're old and will prolly forget :lol

Seriously though, that's fantastic :) If there's some way that someone you don't really know can legitimately be proud of you, then consider me to be. Not sure how that works, but I know this feeling inside: "wow, I'm impressed, that's a huge thing to do, respect ++ !"

finished a weekend of tent trailering with my family, dropped the trailer off at my uncle's who lives around the corner from the campground....his sort-of-adopted-son was there....good kid...20 years old. We shoot the shit for a bit when his new little hottie that he's been seeing shows up.

sighhh.....I think she was 20.
wow....wow...wow....I'm old.

I'm feeling older than ever.

I play guitar and sing in my church's praise team (my wife is the worship leader/lead singer).  We play every Sunday morning, and also a few songs on Wednesday nights.

This past Saturday night, we had our first "gig" at a Christian coffee house here in town.  We rehearsed Thursday night and Friday night, hauled our gear to the coffee house Saturday afternoon, played for 2 hours Saturday night, hauled our gear back to church, then a normal service Sunday morning.

I am beat.  Still.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.
