Are you talking about a certain part in ITPOE that sounds like Prophets of War?  If so, what part?  Time stamp maybe?

He might be referring to the greatest Queen song ever written.

However I wouldn't know, because I don't think I've listened to SC since it came, and IIRC, Pt 2 of the worst DT epic ever was one of the more cringeworthy moments in DT history.

Maybe I'll get around to seeing if I can stomach another listen in the near future.

It is indeed one of the greatest songs ever written. Haven't noticed it in ITPOE 2 (Also one of the greatest songs ever written), but I'll think about it.

yes the Queen song. I love Queen as much as I love DT.  There is the similar beginning, but some "wind sound" is  a common thing in songs openings. I am talking about a particular riff, which, along with the opening, always reminds me of that. One more thing in common.....two absolute great pieces of music.

Will listen closer, I love those nuggetz!
By the way, always in ITPOE part 2, the beginning with that bass reminds quite closely Sheep of Pink Floyd, and the background melody on the last instrumental break, the beginning of grand finale, shares same feeling and some notes with "Impressioni di Settembre" of PFM (Italian Prog of the 70s of which JR is peculiarly fond, in fact not the only nugget in DT music written by him)

Yes, you can hear some Gentle Giant in his playing here and there! I'm gonna check the PFM song.

My favorite song on the album (and yes, I know BoRhap is on there).     Queen II is my favorite album by them, but very singular in their catalog, and to me, The Prophet's Song is about as close as they came to that since then.

I totally agree with that. Queen II is my favourite also, ANATO is a close second. The march of the black queen is the song that puts Queen II ahead for me.

Sorry, I'm not hearing any similarities in the time stamps given.  None.

That's fine. I have showed this to some friends, some see it, some don't. Anyways, that's nothing like the solsbury hill/solitary shell similarity. It's a very small riff.

This totally. I mean, there aren't even vocals in that section of ITPOE. What part specifically is supposed to be similar, zecawolf?

the guitar riff is the same. It is indeed very brief (although hard to say it's a mere accident), but some thing in the mood of the song, along with that riff and the windy beginning, always remind me of the queen song.

Queen and DT are my two favorite bands and main influences, yet I don't see any similarities besides both being epic songs of course.

Both riffs have similar phrasing, which is really cool.

Not really similar on the other way, but I have new appreciation for that riff now.
