I do not.  Born on July 20th, which is apparently, eight days after JP.  I do have the same birthday with Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell.

Thinking of the birthday paradox, which states that in a group of 23 people, there's a 50% chance that two will share the same birthday, I'd say there are a bunch of people of DTF who share theirs with DT members.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Actually they are totally unrelated! In the birthday paradox, 23 numbers are multiplied, with it getting smaller and smaller, then subtracted from one to obtain a reasonably sized probability. On the latter, we expect the DT-DTF matches to be proportional to the number of DTF members.

This was really what the decision was based on. All that "musical chemistry" and "drummer auditions" malarkey was just to fill a 60-minute documentary.  :biggrin:
