I love me some Peruvian Skies.

First, and probably the last, DT solo I ever learned :lol

It is a perfect one for the transition.

Shocked a bit by the results. The ones in the lead are superior songs to PS all-in-all, but I did not expect PS to be fourth. Then again, I could make a case for the top three easily.

The other solo's just aren't that memorable, tbh.  Voices and Peruvian Skies are both solos that show a point of difference in JP's playing.

Lines in the Sand needs a vote option so I can vote for Lines in the Sand.

Nice call PetFish. It is very subtle, but definitely there for more than half of the solo. Not really drenched ala Voices in wah, but still a part of the solo.

The guitar in Voices is one of the reasons I fell in love with DT!  JP is the best!

I like it cuz it's soooooooooo slow and emotional.  Usually the wah is used to make someone sound awesome and clean while playing fast to hide their sloppiness (*cough* Orlando/Tremonti/me) but to go the other way like JP does here is just awesome.  Even though it's short from 6:25-7:12 (I can't decide if he's still using it after up to 7:28) it's just so amazing.

Speaking of wahs, I need a new one, any opinions?  Usually people just say go with the classic Dunlop Crybaby cuz it's just the one to have so I can either get a new one of those or try something else.

Agree about the covering sloppiness, at least for Hammett.

I use a Dunlop 535q I think it is. It offers more tonal shape options. However, I hate having to push it forward to click the button. I would get one that turns on by moving it, or has a side button personally. Beyond that, I have no opinion tonal wise.

Thanks for adding Lines in the Sand to the vote.  :)

Back to the wah, man, I can't believe I forgot about Kirk Hammet, I feel shame.

Thanks for the advice, I'll just grab a new classic Dunlop Wah, it works awesome and it's solid.
