Hmmm....I would say Bolt Thrower, but I know of one other person who likes them. I'll go with Forbidden, and possibly Death Angel.

I enjoy Circus Maximus, but haven't really listened to them a lot. They're on my list to check out a bit more though.

I've listened to these guys ever since they were announced on PN09 but they just clicked for more a few days ago and these guys are AMAZING! Great instrumental work.

I feel i'm the only fan because they're not getting praise from anyone else.

Just thought of another band. Jag Panzer. Great power metal band. Not sure how many people who have heard of these guys, but if you haven't and like some great power metal, check them out. Mechanized Warfare is an incredible album.

I only have Thane to the Throne, but it's great stuff (Macbeth concept album for those who are interested, and it's very well done).

Thane to the Throne is a great, great album. If you liked that album, try Mechanized Warfare sometime. It's basically has the same awesome musicianship, kickass vocals, and just an overall awesome album.

I agree 100% w/ you. There's pieces of Blooddrunk and Are You Dead Yet? that I really like, but as a whole they are nothing compared to the earlier albums. It's really too bad that they seemed to peak so early. I hope they can focus their talents and get it together. I love watching Alexi play, but there's a distinct lack of focus with the last two albums.

I dig Demons & Wizards' first album, as well as The Sword's first album.

Somewhere here turned me onto Poe (with Haunted). I've recently got into Spinnerette and hopefully more people pick up on them, as I think it's one of the better albums of the year. As for others, possibly The Future Sounds of London, although I haven't listened to them in a long time.
