I think a few people did this in the general TV thread, but the nature of that thread made it difficult to really do something like this properly. List all of the currently airing TV series that you are watching. By "currently airing" I don't just mean shows that are airing weekly right now - also include any shows between seasons that you watch and are anticipating the return of.

Hopefully this will be at least somewhat interesting, and we could potentially use this to determine shows with enough viewers to warrant discussion threads being made.

Right now I am watching Bates Motel, Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead. I'm not a huge TV show kind of guy so 3 shows at one time is actually a lot for me  My brother keeps telling me that I need to watch House of Cards too so I'm sure I'll be adding that to the list soon.

I don't have a great deal of time available for TV and only have free to air (no cable) , so I'm a bit limited.  Often I'll get into a show on free to air and it'll be moved across to pay after the first series and I miss out.......one example was Strike Back which I was really into but doesn't seem to be returning to air in Australia. Another was "Americans"........and Hannibal too.

I didn't know there was anyone else here who watched Person of Interest, or was at least still watching it. I like that it's becoming more serialised but I'm bored of the "number of the week" stuff.

Most of these shows aren't on at same "season", so it isn't that overwhelming.  I mostly like short comedies because TV is more of a quick escape or something to watch while eating.  And quite frankly, TV Dramas are almost always hurt by the format.  Dramas shouldn't have "filler" episodes, meaningless side stories or stretch out the "mythology / larger plot" for the sake of reaching 13 to 24 episodes a season.  Dramas work better as movies or books.  Comedy on the other hand just needs to make you laugh (thinking satire is just a bonus)

I'm catching up on it now, about half way through Season 2. It's alright but I'm not too excited about it, so I'm progressing rather slowly.

I found the show quite dull in areas to start with, and stopped for a while during S2, but I think it's kept getting better since. It really picks up in S3, building to an amazing season finale, and I've been hooked on every episode since. Stick with it.

As far as shows I am watching that I never got into while they were on tv, which I am now watching on Netflix.

Fringe - I'm up to season two.
Hemlock Grove - I'm only a few episodes in.
Lost - I finished the whole series.
Supernatural - I'm up to season two.

The Underworld hasn't been my favorite plot line, but it was interesting to include some of the Greek gods in the story.

Very similar to your list except sub out Hell on wheels with House of Cards and I abandoned Fear the walking dead after episode two of season two, not sure if I'll watch the rest of the episodes.

How are you liking this season Hef? I'm enjoying it but am concerned that the show may end up killing itself with the amount of time travel that is going on. There aren't many shows that have kept a cohesive story going while using time travel as a plot device. Continuum did a pretty good job....I still enjoy the heck out of this show though.

I also like how they revealed that there are any number of 'primaries' out there....and that most of them were probably considered crazy. Neat reveal at the end of last episode as well with the old dude that dropped flowers everywhere.
